LOCOMeX participates in NMSDC’s 50th Anniversary Conference
LOCOMeX is proud and honored to have participated in the National Minority Supplier Development Council’s (NMSDC) 50th Anniversary Conference & Exchange Program in New Orleans between Oct 30 and Nov 2, 2022. LOCOMeX was represented by our Founder & CEO, Mr. Ayo Jemiri, at this event.
Ayo was truly inspired to be in the esteemed presence of Mr. Earwin ‘Magic’ Johnson, Co-Chair of the Steering Committee, and Ms. Ying McGuire, CEO & President of NMSDC. The event marked a unique opportunity to collaborate with like-minded business partners representing communities served by the NMSDC, like Hispanic Americans, Asian Americans, African-Americans, and Native Americans.
The four days event started with cultural and gastronomic displays from around the world. The unique exchange platform for the participants to integrate ideas, opportunities, and business relationships was also a window of opportunity to get one-on-one matchmaking sessions with the prospective clients. The event concluded with a Rewards and Recognitions event to recognize the remarkable contributions of the induvial and corporations associated with the NMSDC.
It’s truly an enriching experience to share the dais and event space with inspiring business stalwarts transforming the supplier diversity landscape in our country.
